The Town of Danville is a bustling community with a central town street lined with shops serving coffee, pastries and fine dining. The Iron Horse Trial runs along the western edge of town and provides a recreational pathway for hikers, bikers and runners at all times of the year. The weekly Farmers Market in the Town Center draws from the surrounding area every Saturday and adjoins the San Ramon Valley Museum where an old rail car is open for visitors in the station. The eastern part of the town has homes with large lots, wide tree-lined boulevards and many recreational areas. From the foothills of the Las Trampas Ridge, there are spectacular views of Mt Diablo to the East, yet being on Interstate 680, the commute into the City or throughout the East Bay is convenient. Danville students are served by the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Click here to view the List of Danville Schools.
